Experiences and Stories:
"The faculty did a great job explaining beyond the INOI level. They went through all the topics including additional syllabus meant to be taught in ioitc. Thanks for the opportunity to attend the workshop. Also the campus and the mess were great."Sriram Munagala Class 11, Narayana Olympiad, Chennai
"The session was very useful as I think understood some of the basics related to ZCO and INOI. This was my first ZCO where I managed to score 15 marks without any preparation. I am keen to do CodeChef contests from April and participate in ZCO and ZIO in 2019. Thanks to all sirs from IIIT and BITS pilani for taking time out and helping us out"Aadarsh Devanand Class 10, Kalpa School, Hyderabad
"The session indeed was excellent and quite interactive The heavy topic like Graph and Dynamic Programming were explained so nicely that even small kid of 6th Std understood it. Thanks a million to all the volunteers for the dedication "Mrs. Pallavi Patwa, Pransh’s Mother Class 6, Akshara International School, Pune
"All the trainers were very good and helpful. They did their best to make the workshop worthwhile. I liked all the sessions as each session had something to learn from. Puram, New Delhi
"The content taught was really understanding. It was from scratch such that a school level student can understand easily. All the topics are covered by faculties are enough to boost up your coding level if you are eager to learn."
Shivnath Yadav2nd year, KNIT - Sultanpur, Workshop Center: Gorakhpur - Deen Dayal University
"Attending this workshop with even no experience can also give you a lot of mathematical details about all algorithmic concepts and can code it out easily with little efforts. All the concept has been explained in a good way."
Advait Joshi3rd year, SIMSR, Workshop Center: Mumbai - Directi
"The workshop was excellent for any beginner in CP. It teaches you the basics in the right way. I started CP around 2 years back but still, there is much to learn from this workshop."
Sudarshan Sharma2nd year, GLA University, Workshop Center: Kanpur - IITK
"The experience has been great with the mentors of the workshop. They are really very passionate and hard working people. Their way of teaching the topics sequentially had been very efficient. I would love to be taught by them again and attend such a workshop because this has really given me a kickstart in CP"
Anshika Srivastava1st year, Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology, Workshop Center: Kanpur - IITK
"I was having a fear of competitive programming as I was never taught in this way. But this workshop gave me a boost to do so."
Ankur Dhakar3rd year, JK Institute of Applied Physics and Technology, Workshop Center: Jaipur - MNIT
"It was an excellent initiative by Codechef to create a zeal for programming among the students. The guys were very passionate to learn, although not all of them were good at programming especially data structures and algorithms but, they were determined enough to learn the concepts and they really withstand with us throughout the workshop. Also, Codechef helped us as volunteers to explore new dimensions. The day is not far when the #GoForGold initiative by Codechef will be successful."
Pawan KushwahaVolunteer, Workshop Center: Gwalior MITS
"Teaching to the students hailing from different colleges and districts and coming altogether under the CodeChef umbrella was fun. Right from having a student of 11 years age, to students in the age range of 20 - 25 Years, it was fun and challenging as the concepts taught was have to be made understood to all. It as fun, challenging and exciting, overall a pretty good experience, thanks CodeChef. "
Balaji PachaiVolunteer, Workshop Center: Pune - PICT
"The CodeChef CP workshop during the summer of 2019 was my first official teaching experience and it was an experience I'd love to get again. I was able to look at the students from the trainer's point of view, which I think will help me to understand concepts better when I'm learning something. I feel, even though it was for a short duration, my communication skills had improved greatly and I also got the chance to understand a student's clarity when teaching something."
