Mashup Contest

We at CodeChef have always strived to stimulate learning and progress among programmers through healthy competition, practice, and knowledge sharing. To help you succeed further in your learnings, we present to you the Mashup Contests. Here you can create your contest in a couple of minutes and compete with your friends/colleagues for practice or training. You can add any problem from our huge repository of practice problems to your mashup contest.

Guidelines

Please read the instructions below, before creating a mashup contest. It will help you better understand the procedure.

  • Maximum duration of a mashup contest is limited to 30 days.
  • Rules and banners are fetched from the template for the mashup contest; hence can not be customized.
  • The problems available for the mashup contest have already been used in our internal coding challenges and are not newly created. Also, a few of them may have text or video editorials that are publicly available.
  • The name of the mashup contest will be created by default and can not be changed.

Process

Let us take you through the process of hosting your mashup contest on CodeChef.

  1. You can visit the mashup contest page through the homepage navigation bar under our initiatives dropdown or create the contest using the link below.
  2. To create a contest, you need to provide the start time and duration of the mashup contest.
  3. After creating the contest, you will be able to do the following activities to manage the contest,
    • Add problems from the codechef problem repository and
    • Allocate managers or moderators for the contest.
    • Modify various configurations related to the contest.
