About the Role

At CodeChef, we are building a platform for practical CS education.

Learning content / Courses / Problems created on Codechef in any of the categories - Programming, Data structures and algorithms, Analytics, Web Development are based on ‘Learn by Doing’.

We are looking for folks to join our Learning Team (Note: this is not a Development / Tech team role)

PS: There are two roles, one for Associate - Learning Team and another for Lead - Learning Team

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Content Development
    • Develop practical / learning oriented content for courses and assessments on various CS subjects taught in colleges across India. Understand the industry requirements and develop courses to help students and working professionals meet their learning objectives.     • Work with senior faculty, SMEs / Freelancers, and global industry leaders to create high quality practical learning content
  • Learner engagement
    • Work closely with the Product team to increase ‘retention of knowledge’ for the learners and engagement of learners on CodeChef Learn. At CodeChef - we do not have teacher led training - our users learn by doing - you will need to maximise knowledge retention given a self-learning model.

Skills Required

  • Must Have
    • Willingness and drive to help users learn. The aptitude to teach / mentor should be high. Prior experience in teaching, learning content creation or mentorship is required.
    • Great communication in English.
    • 3* or above on CodeChef
    • BE/ B-Tech/ M-Tech Graduate or equivalent - Computer Science / Information Technology, Maths / Computing.
  • Good to have / Not mandatory
    • Overall years of experience: 0 - 3 years
    • Have worked on and are interested in technical domains (Full Stack Development, Backend, Frontend Development, Software Engineering or Machine Learning, Data Science)

Other details

  • Immediate joining at Bangalore. 1st and 3rd Saturdays are working days at CodeChef.
  • CTC
    • 4 - 6 LPA (For Associate - Learning Team)
    • 6 - 10 LPA (For Lead - Learning Team)
  • Experience
    • 0 - 1 year (For Associate - Learning Team)
    • 1 - 3 years (For Lead - Learning Team)
  • Note: this is not a Development / Tech team role
