About Job
As our SDE I- Data, you will be responsible for designing and developing highly scalable data pipeline solutions and collectively own its data integrity and consistency. You must be able to see the big picture of the company's data situation and be an expert in building distributed data solutions. You need to take the challenges and ownership that comes while developing a complex system.
You will be working in a fast-paced and agile work environment delivering quality and innovative solutions in highly collaborative environments that have immediate business impact. As an SDE 1, you will also get to work with Senior Engineers at Junglee Games to evolve the design and architecture of the system.
Responsiblities
- Work closely with Senior engineers to design, implement and deploy Data pipelines that impact the Junglee Games business with an emphasis on gaming industry.
- Solve complex problems in an innovative way and deliver quality solutions while taking ownership and accountability of assigned things.
- Demonstrate good learnability and adopt technologies that help build large scale, performant, reliable and sustainable systems.
- The ideal candidate will be a leader, quick learner and be able to work independently.
- Collaborating with peers on all elements of the development process as per industry coding standards and creating appropriate technical documentation.
Qualifications
- B.E or B.Tech in Computer Science or any equivalent degree (0-3 yrs.)
- Strong foundation in computer science, with basic competencies in Data Structures, algorithms.
- Excellent programming skills in Python/Scala/Java and expertise in multi-threading and object oriented programming.
- Ability to apply programming language constructs in building highly complex and scalable business applications.
- Good technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Have a penchant for solving complex and interesting problems and ability to work with abstractions and comprehend fuzzy problem statements.
- Hands-on experience working with Databases and Linux platform is a plus.
- Empathetic, motivated and good team-player.
- Excellent listener and interpreter with amazing debugging skills.
Preferred Extra Skills
- Experience and knowledge in Big Data, Amazon Web Services(AWS) and Apache Spark.
- Experience and knowledge in Cloud Data warehouse such as Redshift, Snowflake.
- Experience and knowledge in streaming applications such as Spark Streaming, Kafka.
- Experience and knowledge in writing complex SQL procedures.
