Indian Association for Research in Computing Society (IARCS) provides leadership in computing within India. It also recognizes the impact of computing science in school education in India. It is involved in all aspects of training and selection of the young talent to represent the country at the prestigious International Olympiad in Informatics.
This camp is a part of its new program to teach the teachers, as a way of spreading knowledge down to the grassroots level.
Camp Details:
This will be a 3 day camp consisting of various exposure sessions on informatics and computational thinking. Eminent speakers and academicians will interact with participants on informatics and computational thinking, giving them a flavour of informatics olympiad activity.
It will assist the teachers in understanding and assessing the need to integrate computational thinking and preparation for computing Olympiads in curriculum. It will also be a great opportunity to interact with teachers from different schools.

Additional details:
- All the teachers will be given the registration kit and certificate on successful completion of the workshop
- Food will be arranged by the organisers during all the three days of the workshop

- Introduction to informatics olympiad, competitive programming and online judge
- Introduction to computational thinking - CSPathshala Curriculum
- Hands-on session on problem solving using an online judge
- Syllabus Mapping session that will identify parts of the existing curriculum that can be enhanced using an online judge
- Interactive session on how informatics and problem solving can be encouraged in computer science education
- Unplugged Activities spread over all the sessions
