Over a period of time, CodeChef realised that there exists need of a good assessment program to test the knowledge and understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms, which is conducted in a proctored environment. The CodeChef Certification Exam in DSA is just another step in that direction. And, with CodeChef Certification Representative Program, we intend to establish a network of like-minded programming enthusiasts, to spread awareness about CodeChef Certification Program amongst campuses and organizations across India.
CodeChef Certification Representatives have to spread awareness about the CodeChef Certification Exam in DSA. This program is valid for all the upcoming CodeChef Certification Exams. Each representative will be associated with CodeChef for a period of three exams. Based on their performance during this tenure, they will be provided with additional leadership responsibilities.

- Help the CodeChef team collaborate with your college coding club and placement cell.
- Scout for potential opportunities to collaborate with your college technical fest or any other technical events related to computer science at your campus.
- Come up with innovative ideas on how you can promote CodeChef Certification at your campus.
- Each representative will be associated with CodeChef for a period of three exams. Based on their performance during this tenure, they will be provided with additional leadership responsibilities.
- Be proactive and complete weekly challenges/tasks.
- Assist and guide fellow programmers with Certification-related queries.
- For every successful referral, you will earn a referral bonus of INR 200.

- By using fake profiles to increase referral rewards, you will be barred from the referral program at CodeChef’s sole discretion.

- A Certificate of Representative would be issued only after the following criteria are met:
- Successful completion at least 75% of weekly/daily challenges
- At least 3 successful registrations via your referral code during a series of three exams
- Adhering to CodeChef communication guidelines with respect to communication within your network. Attend all the mandatory webinars and sessions conducted by the CodeChef team.
- A Certificate of Excellence will be issued to selected representatives for their exceptional contribution towards CodeChef’s Certification initiative.
- In case if any representative is inactive for a significant period of time without any prior notice, CodeChef reserves the right to revoke their membership from the representative program
Q. What if I am already a CodeChef representative?
Ans - If you already are a representative, there are certain changes in the way we are going to track referrals, which we believe will improve the tracking and conversions. The previous referral mechanism will be scrapped and we will update you on the new process once you are selected for the programme.
Q. How are the representatives selected?
Ans - All the applications are subjected to a scrutiny based upon your responses. So, make sure you fill the application form with absolute certainty. After an initial scrutiny, you will be interviewed by the CodeChef team.
Q. How will I know if I have been selected?
Ans - We will be contacting all the selected representatives via email regarding their selection and responsibilities.
